Prove your dexterity with these challenging games

Dexterity games are great for when you want a more tactile experience out of a board game, and you don’t want to think of complex strategies or read a bunch of cards. They are also really fun and engaging, adding a bit of adrenaline to your gaming night! Here are a couple of cool games we suggest that you try out.

Maki Stack

First, let’s start with a delicious sounding game – Maki Stack. The most important thing in this sushi-themed dexterity game is SPEED! At the beginning of the turn, you’ll flip over a card. Then, you’ll have to balance and arrange the sushi, plates, and soy sauce bottles, and make sure to execute the order exactly as shown on the card.

This is a team game, and it can be played in more ways than one: one person of the team can be blindfolded, and the other will give directions, both of the team members can make the stack, but only using one finger each and so on.

Tokyo Highway

We’re sticking to a similar theme and going straight to Japan’s capital, traveling on the famous Tokyo Highway. This is a fun dexterity game that will keep you on the edge of your seat! To win, you will have to successfully build highways and get rid of all your cars first. To get rid of a car, you have to build a road that passes over or under another one already constructed and place a car on it without destroying everything. This sounds like a simple game, but the dexterity aspect of it makes it very exciting and engaging – and, to be honest, a tiny bit stressful.

Drop It

Finally, we will be ending with an abstract game – Drop It. This is a game all about shapes, colors, and knowing when and where to drop your piece to score the most points. Each player has an identical set of same-colored shapes, and there is a vertical game board in the middle of the table. On your turn, you have to pick a shape and drop it in the game board and hope it doesn’t touch another piece of your color or a similar shape so you can score points.

This is a fun 2 to 4 player game that lasts about 30 minutes (but you’ll want to play more than one round, for sure).
