Go Free – Promoting Rights, Inclusion, Diversity and Equality
2018-10-17 @ 10:00 - 22:00
An event every day that begins at 10:00, repeating until 2018-10-20
About the project
Since youth work is commonly understood as a tool for development, inclusion and citizenship of young people, the project “Promoting Rights, Inclusion, Diversity and Equality” proposes to prepare youth workers to better address the real needs of young LGBTQ+ people and decrease bias and discrimination towards them. P.R.I.D.E. will be implemented by Go Free – the Association for the Support for Civil Society. The project’s main activity this year is the International Training Course to be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, 14-21 october 2018, with the participation of 28 youth workers from Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania. P.R.I.D.E. is a project financially supported by the European Commission through the Erasmus Plus programme.
As a result of the project, participants will have increased competences in working with young LGBTQ+ people, taking into account their learning and inclusion needs and particularities. They will be empowered to use different nonformal tools and methodologies to make their work more adapted to the environment and the target audience they work with. The project also envisages the creation of a toolkit on working with young LGBTQ+ people.
Note: this is a fully-booked private event, registration is not possible.
