Do you like working in a team? Do you want to fight TOGETHER with your friends instead of AGAINST them? Then you should try out cooperative board games! Band together with your friends and embark on an adventure against the game – but leave no man behind!
The Grizzled
Onward, brothers, to war! You’ll be shouting that when you play The Grizzled. The game takes on a journey alongside a band of French soldiers from the first world war. The goal? Take on missions, help each other get through trauma, and make it to the end in one piece. Although some may want to reach peace alone, this game leaves no man behind, requiring intense cooperation and a perfect balance between risk and safety.
Pandemic
Have you ever wanted to simulate preventing the current pandemic? We’ve got the cure (pun intended) for your desires! Pandemic is a co-operative game that’ll turn you into an elite task force who’s trying their hardest to prevent diseases from spreading. It is seen as one of the best co-operative games of all time, made even more relevant by recent events. We wholeheartedly recommend playing it, and, if you win, praying for life to imitate your successes. Travel across the world, confer with your allies, prevent outbreaks, and find a cure.
Dark Souls: The Card Game
Dark Souls: The Card Game is a cooperative deck evolution card game in which players must explore the world around them, have encounters and defeat the enemies that come along the way. During the game they can make their deck better by defeating monsters and gaining Souls or Treasures, but they also have to keep in mind that their deck represents their life, so taking a rest and healing up at the right time while also trying to defeat as many enemies as they can is a balance they’ll have to master.
We hope you found these cooperative games interesting enough to check them out. If you’d like to get your hands on any of these or similar games, be sure to check out our online shop.
