Once in a while, time will be of the essence. You’ll want to play a fast-paced game to scratch the board game itch, before returning to your work. These games are sure to be perfect for that:
Escape: The Curse of the Temple
You wake up in a darkened temple. You must do your best to escape by working together with your archeologist friends, finding crystals and unlocking new chambers. But what is that noise? It’s the game’s original CD soundtrack, for extra fun!
Time: 10 mins
Difficulty: Easy
We’re Doomed
‘Sir, the world is doomed!’ screams your subordinate. You, however, already know this. Because you’re the leader of one of the world’s great powers. This is the scenario of We’re Doomed. Along with other world leaders, you have to build a rocket to escape the end of the world. Although all of you are fighting for a common goal, the rocket only has so many seats, so you must do all you can to fight for yours. But wait! Except, don’t, because there is a timer! You have 15 minutes, no more!
Players: 4-10
Time: 15 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Dungeon WC
Not all adventures are heroic. Such is the case for Dungeon WC. You, a humble adventurer, find yourself in need of a number two. Thus, you need to reach the dungeon’s toilet. On the way there, you’ll need to battle monsters, open treasure chests, and find the holy toilet paper. But you must do this before your pants are soiled. Go! Dungeon WC is a fast, ridiculous game that requires little thought, making it perfect for a night of casual board gaming.
Players: 1-5
Time: 1-5 minutes
Difficulty: Very easy
